Rural USO 99
Fixed Monthly Charges : Rs. 99/-
Bandwidth : 512 to 2 M bps
Download/Upload Limit : 450 MB
BB Usage charges beyond free usage limit : 0.40 ps/MB

Rural USO 150
Fixed Monthly Charges : 150 Rs.
Bandwidth : 512 to 2 M bps
Download/Upload Limit : 1 GB
BB Usage charges beyond free usage limit : 0.40 p/MB

These special plans are available in all "Rural exchange" areas and existing customers are free to migrate to the new plans; Free modem as per plan may be provided to only first 31 customers w.e.f. 20.01.09

Yes, these plans are available in all the rural areas - Subsidy is applicable for the broadband connection provided from the rural exchange forming part of the agreement with DoT(USO fund manager) irrespective of the location where the connection is provided.

Here are the new two rural plans without telephone rent that is available in all Rural exchange areas
Rural Plan - 250
Rent: Rs. 250/- Free Download: 1 GB; Usage charge beyond Free: Rs. 0.30 per MB
Phone Rent : NIL; Free calls: NIL

Rural Plan - 550

Rent: Rs. 550/- Free Download: 2.5GB; Usage charge beyond Free: Rs. 0.30 per MB
Phone Rent : NIL; Free telephone calls: 250 units
